Question of the Day May 25: 

Recently, Angelina Jolie made an informed personal choice to undergo preventive surgery.  She had a Double Mastectomy to prevent the possibility of developing breast cancer due to a gene she carries and the experience of her own mother's death at age 56, I believe, from ovarian cancer.  It is said that she may next have her ovaries removed as well.  She indicates that some aspect of her decision was to remain alive as long as possible to be present with her own children.Would you chose to have a body part removed, simply to reduce the possibility that you might develop cancer?  It is a complex decision . . .
